Manipulations, manipulations...

So,

We have an assignment in school coming up where we got our pictures taken by a professional photographer against a white background. The assignment is that we have to photoshop ourselves onto a magazine cover. Awesome, right?

So last night, my boyfriend was being slow so I decided to use a picture a classmate of mine had taken of me against a white wall and just play with it a bit to make it look... better? I guess you could say. It was super fun and took me about an hour and a half. It's kinda funny. List of everything done to the picture :

- Cropped a few times.
- Lightened hair, fixed up highlights.
- Fixed eyebrows. (Shape, Darken, etc..)
- Gave my eyes eyelashes.
- Brighten / Colourized my eyes.
- Gave myself some eye liner.
- Took the bags from under my eyes out.
- Lightened up my face.
- Smoothed it out and took some of the red/paleness out.
- My lips looked chapped and really, I do like my teeth. So I used another photo she took of me and took my teeth off that photo and put it into this one. (You can't really tell unless I tell you I did that, but now that I did you'll realize it looks kinda funny)
- Got rid of freckles around my face.
- Sharpened + high-pass filter.
- Gave my lips some redness for colour.
- Put blush on myself (took it off eventually though)
- Teeth were too lightened after I did something and I couldn't calm them down so I just left them all stupid and bright looking.
- Flattened, fixed levels for the 5th time.

Probably some other stuff too. It's crazy to think that everyone is so bloody photoshopped in magazines. It's even funny to because the day she took the picture I had been wearing the same shirt for like a week (not really, but like 2 days because I was too tired to get up and change it), I hadn't showered that morning, no make-up, still half asleep, hair wasn't done, etc.. pretty good for my first time, eh?
